Gison GP-300 Heavy Duty Air Palm Nailer

The Professional Choice for Nailing in Tight Spaces & Joist Hangers

The Gison GP-300 Air Palm Nailer is a powerful, compact pneumatic tool designed to drive bulk nails in areas where a standard hammer or framing nailer simply cannot fit. Whether you are installing joist hangers, metal connectors, or working in cramped residential framing, the GP-300 delivers 1,000 BPM (blows per minute) with minimal effort.

Why the GP-300 is a Workshop Essential:

  • Magnetic Nail Guide: Securely holds nails in place for one-handed operation and precise placement.
  • Ultra-Lightweight: At only 0.90kg, it significantly reduces user fatigue during overhead or long-duration tasks.
  • No Surface Damage: Eliminates the risk of "hammer marks" on finished surfaces, making it ideal for metal-to-wood connections.

Common Applications in NZ Construction

The Gison GP-300 is favoured by Kiwi builders for specialised tasks, including:

Joist Hanger Installation

Perfect for driving connector nails in narrow triangular joist areas where a swing is impossible.

Metal Strapping & Bracing

Ensures nails are driven flush into metal connectors without damaging the galvanised coating.

Heavy Duty Framing

Ideal for toenailing studs or fixing timber in renovations with restricted clearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the GP-300 work with standard bulk nails?

Yes. Unlike traditional nail guns that require collated strips, the GP-300 uses standard loose bulk nails. Just place the nail head into the magnetic nose and apply light pressure.

What air compressor is required?

We recommend a compressor that can maintain 90 PSI with a delivery rate of at least 12-13 CFM for continuous use, though smaller tanks work well for intermittent nailing.
