DeVilbiss C-Spray Pressure Feed Spray Gun (ADV-PCDT)

The DeVilbiss C-Spray ADV-PCDT is the gold standard for marine and yacht refinishing. Engineered in collaboration with the world’s leading paint manufacturers, this pressure-feed spray gun is specifically designed to handle high-performance marine coatings, including metallic topcoats and clear coats, with unparalleled precision.

Why Choose the DeVilbiss C-Spray ADV-PCDT?

Unlike standard industrial spray guns, the C-Spray utilizes Critical Droplet Atomisation Technology (CDT). Every CDT air cap is spray-tested in 12 different positions to ensure perfect fan concentricity and droplet distribution. This means fewer passes, less overspray, and a mirror-like finish on super-yachts and commercial vessels.

Key Features:

  • Advanced CDT Air Caps: Optimized for the latest marine paints to provide a consistent, high-gloss finish.
  • Marine-Grade Construction: Features stainless steel tips, needles, and fluid passageways as standard to resist corrosion from solvent and waterborne paints.
  • Superior Ergonomics: A curved handle design and lighter trigger pull significantly reduce operator fatigue during long shifts on large hulls.
  • Unique Blue Finish: The anodized forged aluminum body is not only durable but easy to clean and identify in a busy workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What materials can I spray with the ADV-PCDT?

The C-Spray is highly versatile. It is ideal for single and 2-pack water or solvent-based paints, high-solid topcoats, metallic/pearlescent clear coats, and even marine anti-foul paints.

What setup size should I choose?

We offer 1.0mm and 1.2mm setups. Generally, a **1.0mm tip** is preferred for fine topcoats and clear coats, while the **1.2mm tip** provides better flow for slightly thicker primers or medium-solid materials.

Is this gun compatible with my current pressure pot?

Yes. The fluid inlet is a universal 3/8" thread, and the air inlet is 1/4", making it compatible with all standard Albany Air Pressure Pots and hose sets.

Does it require special maintenance?

Because it features all stainless steel fluid paths, maintenance is straightforward. However, due to the precision of the CDT air caps, we recommend daily cleaning with a dedicated gun-wash to prevent material buildup in the air ports.
